In 2000 Degree in Civil Engineering at “Mediterranea” University of Reggio Calabria.
In 2004 Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering at “Mediterranea” University of Reggio Calabria.
He joined “Tor Vergata” University of Rome in 2006 after working as researcher grater at “Mediterranea” University of Reggio Calabria. Currently his main focus is on research and consultancy projects concerned with freight transport and logistics. He is specialist in city logistics and emission issues by transportation.
Research and Consultancy
As Associate Professor at “Tor Vergata” his main role is to support the research and consultancy projects in the freight transport and logistics field. This is a very active research area for the Department of Enterprise Engineering and it has carried out studies for many sponsoring organizations over the past years. Recent projects include: research on city logistics modelling, forecasting future trends in passengers and freight transport, freight platform impact evaluation, transportation system assessment.
He teaches on courses concerned with courses in environment and land use and transport. His main teaching activity covers the themes of environmental and acoustic impacts due to transportation, and methods and models for simulating transportation systems. In addiction he supervises degree thesis for 7/10 students for year.
